Is it safe to send large attachments in an Email?
Posted by Muhammed
Posted on Friday, July 25, 2014
If you need to send a file to someone, the first option
should be an Email. But if it is large file, is it safe to send via an email?
No, really not.
For security reason most of the email service provider will
have message size limit otherwise the email servers bombarded with large mails
and cause server down or low performance. The default sending /receiving message
size limit of major email service providers are Gmail (25 MB) Yahoo Mail (25MB)
and Outlook.com (10 MB).
Even though if you send large attachments via mail, there is
a chance to block or bounce back your mail from recipient’s end due to restriction
or limited mailbox size especially if they are using hosted solution for an email.
This might also cause your mailbox to exceed the storage quota because each
mail you sending will be saving on your send items.
Due to this limitation you may receive the following errors
when you send large mails
- 552 Message size exceeds fixed maximum message size
- Attachment size exceeds the allowable limit
- The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now
So sending large attachments in an email is not a best
solution.
The best way to send large files over the internet is file hosting
service. It makes the process simple, you
just need to upload the file and share the download links with your recipients.
The recommended file hosting service is Google Drive /OneDrive because they offer
good storage space (15 GB) with default file size limit (2 GB & 10 GB) for free.
If you go for paid one, you will get more. Recommended to read: - Best Free Cloud-Sharing Services
Cometdocs Desktop App Offers Incredibly Easy Online File Conversion
Posted by Muhammed
Posted on Friday, May 30, 2014
When you are looking for an online service for converting
files into different formats, there are usually three important things to
consider. Is it free? It is accurate? Is it fast? The desktop conversion app
offered by file conversion experts Cometdocs is definitely all three of these.
On the market for over five years now, Cometdocs’ name has
become synonymous with high quality file conversion options. All you need to do
is sign up for a free account with Cometdocs and immediately, you’ll have the
ability to convert PDFs into a wide range of editable file formats include
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, image file formats, HTML, and much more. It
also allows you to convert just about any document type into a PDF. Cometdocs
also supports some conversions that you won’t find with most similar services,
like XML conversion.
While the site’s online interface is excellent and quite
intuitive, using the desktop app provides an even faster and more convenient
way to get your files converted. If you have a Cometdocs account already,
simply head over to the Desktop App page to download and install the app. It’s
lightweight and very easy to install.
It’s also incredibly easy to use. Here’s how it works.
Once you have installed it, file conversion is literally one
click away.
Simply right-click on the file that you want to convert and
find the circular, orange Cometdocs logo in the menu. If you are converting a
PDF, it will say “Convert To” next to the Cometdocs logo. All you have to do
now is select the output format of your choice.
If you are creating a PDF, it will say “Create PDF” next to
the logo. Simply click on that option.
And that is literally all there is to the process. Once the
conversion is complete, the newly converted file will be automatically
downloaded into the folder in which your original file is located.
It’s that simple. There’s no need to even open your web
browser, much less enter your email address, wait for an email to be sent, and
do all of the other things that similar free online file converters require you
to do. With the Cometdocs desktop app, all of your conversions can be down
directly from your desktop in one, quick step.
Another great thing about the app is that you can integrate
it with your favorite cloud storage service. Simply open your Dropbox, Google
Drive, or whatever other cloud storage folder you use, and perform the same
one-step process with any file located in your storage.
Once the file is converted, the out file will be saved right
back into your cloud storage folder immediately and synched with the service.
It’s incredibly convenient.
Of course, the accuracy and quality of the conversions are
also at a very high level, which makes the service even more attractive.
If you’re someone who needs a fast way to convert files
online, the Cometdocs desktop app is an excellent choice. It’s an online file
converter and productivity app all wrapped into one package.

Fake Flash Player Update pop up When try to access Google or Gmail
Posted by Muhammed
Posted on Monday, May 26, 2014
Today some of my clients had problem with accessing Google
and Gmail, they were getting a message says like “WARNING! Your flash Player may be out of date. Please update to
continue".
If they tried to close or OK to the pop up message it redirect
them a webpage looks like adobe and prompt to download different products.
During my research I found, it is a DNS hijack. In
my previous post I have explained whatis DNS hijacking and how does it work
To fix this problem, you need to check your DNS server
configuration on your computer and router. For this follow the below steps
1. Open Command prompt (Start->Run->Type ‘cmd’)
2. In command prompt, type the command ipconfig /all and press
enter
3. Then check the DNS server entry and if it is 23.253.94.129, no
doubt that is the culprit
Now you need to remove this entry from your computer or
router
Open the Control panel, then Network and Sharing Center and access
the active network card properties and change DNS server address. If it is not
there, you have to check router and reset the settings. Depends on the router model, these settings
may be vary. If you know your router IP, User name and password, just login and
check for DNS configuration settings.

The New Moto 360 Smartwatch – Just Another Drop in the Smartwatch Sea or A Wave of Its Own?
Posted by Muhammed
Posted on Tuesday, April 01, 2014
The
smartwatch craze is still officially on the rise and it seems that every
techie-tuned company wants to cash-in on the newfangled futuristic stylings of
wristwatches that do more than the run-of-the-mill tick-tocking. It wasn’t too
long ago that the Galaxy Gear and the new Pebble Steel smartwatches were
released, ingratiating some generally positive reviews in their own right. But
the ever evolving, ever creatively steadfast Motorola Company is anteing-up with
a new glamorous gizmo, a revisit from its previous foray into the smartwatch
game (i.e., the Moto 360’s less charming older brother, the Moto Actv) that may
help to take smartwatch dynamics to a new level. Let’s take a look at the
details!
Moto 360 Functionality
One
of the coolest aspects of the Moto 360 is that it will be completely compatible
with hosting all Android Wear featuring, supporting everything that Android
Wear does on top of additional customized notifications, voice action commands
and stacked cards. That being said, the 360 will be synergistic with Android
devices running 4.3 or higher. It’s battery-life is apparently very solid as
well, and although the word isn’t completely out yet, there seem to be some
interesting developments concerning the 360’s method of battery charging.
Motorola isn’t saying how the 360 will charge itself just yet, but it can be
assumed that the smartwatch will utilize something along the lines of inductive
charging, void of needing a USB port. Plus, when one physically observes the
Moto 360, no trace of external charging points can be found. This will definitely
add a lot of extra hype and a few bonus points on the chic, fashionable factor
scale.
It’s
worth noting that there is no camera function on the Moto 360. But don’t be too
surprised. Every gizmo nowadays has a camera, but apparently when it comes to
smartwatches, users just aren’t interested in a photo-taking functionality
being present. People just want the watch to give them their desired
information at a quick glance, nothing more. Keeping in step with this concept,
the Moto 360 scrolls its notifications vertically versus horizontally like most
others like the Sony SmartWatch 2. Its believed that a vertical scroll will
offer more ease and fluidity to visualization and reading.
The Moto 360’s Design
Motorola
designers wanted to achieve some specific upgrades with the 360 that just
aren’t present or up to par in other smartwatches. Firstly, there’s the actual
rounded shape of the watch-face. This is more than just a fashion choice as it
allows for a more spacious viewing surface area and offers more wrist comfort
than the pointed boxy watch-faces. The attributed Android Wear notifications
are specifically better-suited for a rounded watch-face than a squared one as
it pointed attracts the users eyes to the center of its screen. Plus, it really
does look cool.
The
watch bands themselves will be interchangeable, and having learned from
previous smartwatch models it has been observed that this is a more important
issue than one might immediately assume. Personalization and comfort are
crucial, and Motorola designers have given that a bright spotlight and allowed
for easily swapped-out wrist-bands made from premium quality materials.
Granted
this dedication to comfort and upper-tier quality, one shouldn’t expect that
the Moto 360 will be a moderately priced item. This techie titan was pieced
together from the bottom up with carefully crafted concepts of customization,
including special screens, various parts and internal chips. High quality
leather and metals are incorporated to allow for not only a highly functional,
but fashionable piece of merchandise. But not just so for a specific target
audience of potential buyers, but everyone. One of the failings of the overall
smartwatch push is that these products tend to lean toward the bulkier side,
making them a bit more cumbersome for the female wrist. The Moto 360 seeks to
achieve the proper balance of fit to accommodate a wider demographic.
Release Date and Other Specifics
No
official release date has been made available just yet aside from the vague ‘summer
of 2014 or beyond’ timeframe. As for the price of the Moto 360, this remains to
be a mystery as well, but it’s easily assumed it’ll cost a pretty shiny penny
given the materials and design put into it creation. Also, surprisingly there
is not much to be said about the internal workings of the device either. No
details concerning processors or memory have been outlined just yet. Some
things remain yet to be seen, but it’s certainly something to set your timer
for while we look at the clock and wait patiently.

How to remove Voga 360 pop up ad from desktop?

Recently I start to get an email asking about the removal
instruction of Voga 360 pop up ad from the desktop. When I talk to these clients, I understand
that they are using an app called Mobogenie, which is the most trending free
app from Voga 360 making this problem. Even they removed this app, they are
getting same pop up message which is annoying and will not let you close that
pop up window.
When I search in Internet, I understood that Voga 360 is an
app store from where you can download Hot Apps, Popular Games, Cool Ringtones, and
Beautiful Wallpapers for your Android Mobile Phone for Free. But I am not sure why it shows this kind of bad behavior
may be because of improper installation/Un installation of the apps which
download it from their website.
I suggested my clients to follow the below steps to remove
this ad from the desktop which resolved the issue.
1. Open Add/rem programs and uninstall Mobogenie
2. Open Task Manager and find the process DaemonProcess.exe
and right click and End Process
3. Navigate to C:\Program files and rename the folder
Mobogenie to DELETE and restart the computer
4. After restart go to C:\Program files delete the renamed
Mobogenie folder
From there you will not get the Voga 360 pop up any more. I personally
using Mobogenie on my computer for a quiet long time and I did not face any
problem with it. Those who know more about this app, you can share it with us
on comments.
