How the reset Firefox Works?
It is not going to hard reset the browser; it works by creating a new profile folder while preserving your Bookmarks, Browsing history, Passwords, Cookies, and web form auto-fill information. In this process, Firefox does not save your extensions or add-ons, themes, open tabs, windows, tab groups, download history etc... It makes the restoration seamless and effective.
How do I reset Firefox to its default state?
To reset Firefox to its default state, click on the Firefox button located at top-left corner, open the Help sub-menu and select ‘Troubleshooting Information’.
Then click on the ‘Reset Firefox’ button, a confirmation window will appear, tap to continue.
Firefox will close and be reset. When it's done, a window will list the information that was imported. Click Finish and Firefox will open. That's it – you're done!
